02 / THE THINKING BEHIND THE RUN.

GOOD RUNNING KIT STARTS WITH MOVEMENT.

The repeated swing of an arm. The reach of a stride. The coverage you want as you move.

These are the details we consider when developing running apparel. The shape of a garment, the fabric and the way it is put together all influence how it feels on the runner.

Our approach starts with the activity and the person wearing the kit. Club colours bring the identity. The thinking underneath gives the garment its purpose.

03 / THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE PLATFORM.

A LOCAL SCHOOL. A LASTING INFLUENCE.

Inchture Primary School’s Parent Council wanted performance sportswear that would help pupils look and feel like a team when representing their school.

At the time, we didn’t have a dedicated running platform. Their enquiry encouraged us to accelerate the development of the T4N Running System, which has since grown into our Core and Elite Running platforms.

We’re proud that a local school’s vision helped shape that journey.

RUNNING TOGETHER.
PROUD TO PLAY OUR PART.

We’re proud to be the technical supplier to Run Like a Girl Arbroath.

Working with Lauren, we support this inspiring community of women with T4N running apparel.

04 / CORE AND ELITE. DIFFERENT PURPOSES.

Two platforms with different approaches to running apparel. Core brings together running tops and shorts; Elite focuses on a sleeveless vest and split shorts.

The names describe the platforms, not the ability or ambition of the person wearing them.

CORE RUNNING.

RUNNING TOPS AND SHORTS.

Core is our running platform for schools, clubs and community sport, with an athletic silhouette and a focus on fit, coverage and movement.

The tee and shorts form its established foundation. A long-sleeved tee is also in development.

ELITE RUNNING.

PERFORMANCE VEST AND SPLIT SHORTS.

Elite takes a different approach: a sleeveless top paired with split shorts, developed around the movement and coverage those garments need.

The platform remains in development, with sampling and wear testing required before production approval.

05 / THE GARMENTS. THE DETAILS THAT MATTER.

Each garment has a role within its platform. The Core tee and shorts have already been supplied; the long-sleeved tee and Elite garments remain in development. We’ll confirm current product options and ordering availability when discussing your programme.

CORE / SHORT-SLEEVED RUNNING TEE

CORE RUNNING TEE.

The short-sleeved top at the heart of Core Running, with an athletic silhouette and fit considered around arm movement and torso coverage.

Tell us about the running tops your group already enjoys wearing. Their measurements and fit preferences give us a useful starting point.

CORE / LONG-SLEEVED RUNNING TEE

IN DEVELOPMENT.

A long-sleeved addition to the Core family. The sleeves and upper-body fit need their own consideration, rather than simply adding length to the short-sleeved top.

It still requires development and testing before being presented as an established product.

CORE / RUNNING SHORTS

CORE RUNNING SHORTS.

Developed alongside the tee, with attention to leg coverage, waistband construction and freedom through the stride.

We’ll discuss your runners’ preferences and the garment measurements before helping you choose the appropriate fit.

ELITE / PERFORMANCE RUNNING VEST

IN DEVELOPMENT.

A sleeveless running top, with shoulder shape and arm openings considered as part of its own pattern.

Sampling and wear testing are still required before production approval.

ELITE / TRUE SPLIT SHORTS

IN DEVELOPMENT.

Split shorts developed around the opening at the side of the leg and how the garment moves through a stride.

The design still requires sampling and wear testing before production approval.

T4N RUNNING SOCK

ENGINEERED FROM THE FOOT UP.

A running sock can stretch over your foot.

That doesn’t necessarily mean it fits properly.

When we developed the T4N Running Sock, we started with the same question we ask when developing our running apparel: what does the athlete actually need the product to do?

For a sock, that means staying where it should. Managing movement inside the shoe. Providing protection without unnecessary bulk. Allowing heat and moisture to escape. And maintaining its fit mile after mile.

So rather than taking an existing sock and adding club colours, we developed our own technical running-sock platform.

MORE THAN A LOGO ON A SOCK.

The T4N Running Sock has been engineered as the interface between your foot and your running shoe.

Its construction brings together a formed heel, controlled arch hold, targeted cushioning, breathable knit zones and a secure stay-up cuff.

Each element has a job.

FORMED HEEL POCKET

Designed to locate the heel securely and help reduce unwanted movement through repetitive running gait.

CONTROLLED ARCH HOLD

An integrated midfoot structure helps keep the sock positioned around the foot without turning it into a compression sock.

TARGETED CUSHIONING

Protection is concentrated where it is useful rather than covering the entire foot in unnecessary bulk.

BREATHABLE KNIT ZONES

More open structures are positioned through appropriate areas of the foot to support airflow and moisture management.

LOW-PROFILE TOE CONSTRUCTION

Designed to minimise unnecessary prominence inside the shoe and create a smoother interface around the toes.

SECURE STAY-UP CUFF

Built to retain its position during running without relying on excessive constriction.

FIT MATTERS. EVEN WHEN A SOCK STRETCHES.

One of the most interesting lessons during development came from something remarkably simple:

A sock fitting onto your foot doesn’t automatically mean it is the correct size for your foot.

Knitted socks stretch considerably. That can disguise poor sizing.

Excessive stretch can change how the knit, cushioning and reinforcement structures behave, while too little tension can allow excess material and movement.

That’s why we’ve developed the T4N Running Sock around controlled size bands rather than expecting one highly stretched sock to cover an enormous range of shoe sizes.

We’re interested in how the sock performs on the foot, not simply whether it can be pulled onto it.

DEVELOPED BY TESTING, NOT GUESSING.

A specification only gets us so far.

Our development samples move from engineered dimensions into actual running.

Fit. Heel security. Toe comfort. Arch hold. Cuff retention. Movement inside the shoe. Cushioning. Breathability. Recovery after washing. Long-distance comfort.

They all have to work outside the spreadsheet.

During development, one of our early size samples was taken through a 37-mile run lasting more than seven hours.

That’s the kind of testing we want.

Not because one long run proves everything, but because genuine running gives us information that a factory sample sitting on a desk never can.

We use that feedback to challenge the fit, compare size bands and refine the product before it becomes part of a club’s kit.

YOUR CLUB. BUILT INTO THE PRODUCT.

Performance came first.

But this is still Twenty 4 Nine.

Our knitted construction allows us to integrate club colours and identity into the sock without simply applying decoration over the finished product.

That means a club running sock can feel unmistakably yours while still being built around the requirements of running.

Because custom shouldn’t mean taking a generic product and changing the colour.

It should mean bringing your identity into a product that was engineered properly in the first place.

YOUR CLUB. OUR ENGINEERING.

06 / DIFFERENT RUNNERS. CONSIDERED FIT.

FIT IS MORE THAN A SIZE LABEL.

The shape of a pattern, the proportions and the room built into it all influence how a garment feels. A familiar size label doesn’t tell the whole story.

FIVE PATHWAYS. ONE PRINCIPLE.

Across our sportswear engineering approach, we recognise five distinct pathways:

Men. Garment development around men’s proportions and the intended fit.

Women. A dedicated pathway that considers women’s proportions from the outset.

Youth Foundation. A shared starting point for younger boys and girls, recognising that children aren’t simply smaller adults.

Youth Crossover. A considered progression from Youth Foundation towards the men’s platform as boys develop.

Girls Development. A distinct progression from Youth Foundation towards the women’s platform.

These describe our wider engineering approach. They don’t mean every Running garment is available across every pathway. We’ll confirm the relevant options for your group.

START WITH A GARMENT YOU ENJOY WEARING.

Measure a running garment that already feels right, and tell us what you like about its fit. Those measurements give us a practical starting point for discussing the T4N options.

Five engineering pathways. One principle: develop the garment around the athlete, not the athlete around the garment.

07 / YOUR RUNNING KIT. YOUR IDENTITY.

THE DEVELOPMENT IS OURS. THE IDENTITY IS YOURS.

Your colours, your group and the people you represent. We bring that identity into running apparel developed with a clear purpose.

Tell us about your runners, the garments you need and what has or hasn’t worked for you before. From there, we can discuss fit, review measurements and work through your design.

THINK BEYOND THE FIRST ORDER.

New members join. School teams change. Clubs plan their next event. We’ll discuss those needs early, including how your group wants to organise its kit programme.

YOUR CLUB. OUR ENGINEERING.

08 / LET’S TALK ABOUT YOUR RUNNING KIT.

Whether you’re representing a school, a club or a running community, start by telling us about the people who will wear the kit.

We’ll help you work through running apparel, custom running socks, fit, design and the practical requirements of your programme.
